Based in Glasgow City Centre with a hybrid and flexible working pattern, this role represents a rare opportunity to join a global business in a highly commercial, analytical and forward-thinking finance role. The primary focus of this role is to support the delivery of all annual budget and quarterly forecast processes you will work across the wider finance team and business.  You will be expected to calculate, analyse, challenge, report and explain the margins for quarterly forecasts, rolling forecasts and budget.

Ideally, we are looking to engage with qualified accountants (ICAS, CIMA, ACCA) from either practice or industry who possess strong analytical skills and commercial acumen as well as excellent stakeholder management skills, as the business partners with a wide variety of stakeholders across the wider business units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that all key stakeholders have a clear understanding of the performance of the business in both financial and non-financial terms. You will do this by providing comprehensive analysis and commentary. Whilst building effective relationships across the business
• Working closely with the business teams to prepare the detailed budget and forecast
• Preparing and communicating detailed explanations for all movements between budget and forecasts (for income statement, balance sheet and cashflow)
• Assisting with the preparation of the detailed pages from KPI pack, executive and board reports. Monitor and challenge financial and non-financial performance to ensure progress toward business objectives and key performance indicators is clearly reported
• Promoting effective cash management and suggest improvements to working capital controls throughout the business
• Daily, you will liaise and provide ad-hoc support to stakeholders within the wider business as required

Salary £47,000 + Bonus
