Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working with a leading family run business in Glasgow to recruit for a Senior Credit Controller on a permanent basis. This role would include management of a large volume of accounts, where you will primarily be involved in proactive cash collection mainly by telephone and building relationships with customers. The role will suit a candidate who has worked in a high-volume credit control environment.

A summary of some of the key responsibilities include:

• Collection of payments by telephone
• Carry out credit checks and ongoing revision of credit limits
• A focus on cost effectiveness, preparing accounts for litigation or further action
• Liaising with third parties and internal customers
• Working as part of a team following guidelines, procedures, and processes
• Reconcile accounts
• Decision making over suspending accounts
• Prioritisation and effective management of a challenging workload whilst maintaining excellent levels of customer service

This role is well suited for someone who enjoys having frequent customer interaction on the phone, has natural relationship building ability and is proactive to resolve queries. On offer is a salary of £27,000 to £30,000 DOE, some flexibility around working hours, and an opportunity to join a growing and successful business in the heart of Glasgow.
