Due to a change in structure Rutherford Cross is delighted to partner with a leading Asset Manager based in Edinburgh, looking to recruit for an experienced Senior Auditor for an initial 6 month contract.

As a Senior Auditor you will be responsible for delivering risk based audits in line with the annual audit plan which will include: planning, scoping, executing and reporting. You will also be responsible for agreeing relevant process amendments or remedial actions with management where any issues have been identified and supporting the business areas to implement these.

Additional responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing new projects and advising the project management team from a risk management perspective
• Managing key stakeholders and building good working relationships across the business
• Supporting the continuous development of the audit team including audit methodology
• Leading ad hoc fraud investigations and due diligence where required
• Supporting the business within an advisory capacity in relation to risk and controls
• Supporting other team members

In order to be considered for this contract you will need to have a proven track record working preferably within internal audit although external audit experience will also be considered as well as an understanding of Asset Management/ Wealth Management/ Banking or equivalent.

You will have a strong understanding of regulatory changes within the business, will maintain excellent communication skills both written and verbal and will have a track record of building rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
