Rutherford Cross are working in partnership with a leading firm based in the vibrant city of Dublin to recruit an experienced Senior Audit Manager for a leading industrial and commercial client base.

 

This role will involve planning, running and reporting on audit team on engagements with leading multinational clients based across Ireland and further afield. There will be set objectives to ensure standards are met as well as compliance.  Keeping up to date with the industry, risks and challenges to ensure market and technical knowledge are of a high standard.  Building, developing and establishing new and existing client relationships for client management and a key part of the role will be to develop new business and clients for future business.  Strong leadership is required for this role – leading, mentoring and training junior team members.

 

This position will be based out of the head office in Dublin.  Dublin is a key financial market in Europe and Ireland is now home to some of the world’s largest industrial and commercial companies.  Ireland is the European home to many companies such as Yahoo, Facebook and Microsoft. Dublin is a multicultural city in the republic of Ireland. Ireland has certainly had a turbulent time during the global recession but it certainly has gone from strength to strength over the past couple of years with multiple global organisations relocating their European HQ to Ireland to benefit from their attractive corporate tax rates and the lower cost of living (in comparison to Switzerland and Luxembourg).

 

Candidates for Senior Audit Manager level roles must have a proven track record of outstanding performance and display a high level of people and business skills.  Strong experience within the commerce and industry audit is expected as well as having worked for a larger CA firm. At this stage candidates with an EU passport is essential.  A professional qualification is required to take up this post.  A preference will be given to those with strong business development skills.
