Large City Centre based business in Glasgow are seeking a statistical analyst to support bad debt provisioning and be part of the data reporting team where you will be involved in preparing, analysing and reporting on various different types of data. This role requires a candidate with a strong statistical background who can analyse financial data, review current processes, confidently liase with different stakeholders and ensure detailed reports are provided for relevant departments.

Key aspects of the role will include:

-Analysis of key metrics surrounding the data collection

-Supporting the effective management of the risk profile

-Interrogation of data to identify trends and providing analysis

-Building relationships across the risk function

-Creating management data to help support the business

-Ensuring effective reporting

This role would suit a candidate who has had exposure to SAS and SQL and has very strong Excel skills. The role is an ongoing interim position expected to last for a minimum of 1 year
