Rutherford Cross has been engaged by a leading commercial bank based in Glasgow. Exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation.  Due to continued growth and the Bank’s move to the new IFRS 9 accounting standards, the Bank is now looking to recruit a Risk Analyst – Collective Provisioning into the team who will focus on statistical analysis to support various projects throughout the Bank.

The Role

Reporting to the Director within Collective Provisioning to deliver successful oversight through the preparation, analysis and reporting of the collective provision model. It is important that you are able to challenge the business where necessary, are able to problem solve and are interested in driving the change agenda.

In order to be considered for the position, you will need to have a strong background within financial or business risk management gained working in financial services. Excellent communication skills with demonstrable experience managing key stakeholders, coupled with a pro-active attitude.

Preferably you will have strong experience working with SQL including programming, although SAS experience would also be advantageous. You will also need to demonstrate an understanding of Basel II.
