Reporting Accountant £250 a day Edinburgh (6 months)

Rutherford Cross are recruiting for a qualified accountant on a contracting basis to cover a financial services company over their December year end.

This is a hands-on reporting and production role rather than a management position and our client is keen to have experience of a similar role within financial services rather than an individual straight out of practice (although this may be considered)

Year End

• Production of Statutory Accounts

Month End

• Preparation of management information packs and the associated commentary to show  variance analysis
• Liaising with internal stakeholders
• Journals and reconciliations

Projects

• Mapping accounts and UAT

Misc

• Budgeting, forecasting and planning
