As a key part of our growth plan, we seek to add a new Recruitment Consultant to the Rutherford Cross team in Glasgow whose ambition and potential match our own. For the right candidate, the role will provide a fast track, “hands on” development opportunity covering a wide variety of business activities.
You will working alongside a highly experienced team of consultants with our core focus on the delivery of key assignments. You will be involved with a number of market facing activities: business development, participating in client conference briefings, screening and interviewing candidates, writing marketing material and position profiles, organising events and everything in between. We are a high growth entrepreneurial business where no two days are the same, so writing your job description is not easy!

Person requirements
We are looking for someone special, someone who is going to make a difference as part of our organisation. Your ability to engage with people and your drive and determination will make you stand out and importantly will have already led to significant success in whatever you have turned your hand to.
You will likely be of graduate calibre and have already worked in in the recruitment industry or another business development, sales or customer service environment. Working with Rutherford Cross gives you the opportunity to deal with exceptional people on a daily basis with your client typically being the CFO or Group Finance Director. You must therefore have first class communication skills, tenacity and determination and the desire to leave no stone unturned to deliver the best solution for your clients and candidates. You will be able to display achievements from your career to date and you may also have been successful from a perspective outside of work such as sports. You will be passionate, enthusiastic and be an excellent team player. Most importantly, you will share our ethos of supporting our clients, candidates and colleagues to ultimately achieve their full potential.
