Job Title: Purchase Ledger Clerk
Contract Type: Permanent
Rutherford Cross is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive PL Clerk to join our client's finance function in the outskirts of Glasgow on a full-time permanent basis.
The role is a hybrid opportunity and has flexible start/finish times.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of invoices, setting up new suppliers, working with a high volume of transactions and collaborating closely with other departments to resolve invoice queries and discrepancies.
Key Activities and Responsibilities:
- Coding and checking of purchase invoices
- Monthly statement reconciliations
- Preparation of new suppliers
- Input invoices into the Purchase Ledger
- Process invoices for payment
- Maintain a log of invoice issues and work with relevant departments to resolve in a timely manner
- Manage and resolve purchase invoice/supplier account queries
Experience:
- Previous experience within Finance/Office environment
- Data entry skills
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
