Project Accountant £40k Edinburgh (12 month FTC)

Subsidiary of a global software company is seeking a temporary accountant to assist the Financial Controller in the project accounting of the Edinburgh operations.

The role will involve:

• Month end, journals, reconciliations
• Liaising with group head office, banks and end customer
• Forecasting and planning
• Commercial pricing
• Adhoc requests for information

This is a great role for a qualified accountant to gain experience of working as part of a large company but a in small team environment having a direct impact on how the business is running operationally and driving improvements. This is a role for an enthusiastic and positive individual who can think on their feet and have the ability to take ownership of driving process improvements within both finance and operations. You will learn a lot from working with an experienced Financial Controller and generally working in a fast paced environment.
