Project Accountant role with our public-sector, commercially focussed client, based in Edinburgh, for a likely 6-month period.  There will be a requirement for occasional travel.

The organisation is going through a period of significant change and you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring the accurate analysis, recording and reporting of transactions
• Monitoring, apportioning and reconciling income across the organisation
• Establishing and developing protocols and financial models for administering income
• Undertaking detailed and complex reconciliations
• Monitoring bank accounts daily
• Working closely with internal and external stakeholders and partners, offering the highest levels of outputs and customer service

To apply you will likely be a qualified accountant with excellent attention to detail and with the ability to multi task during a significant period of change. You will have first class Excel skills, excellent communication skills and a practical working knowledge of VAT. Experience of working within the both the public and commercial sectors previously would be a distinct advantage.
