Project Accountant

Rutherford Cross has been engaged to recruit a Management Accountant / Project Accountant to join an established and growing Manufacturing business based in Livingston. The role reports directly the Managing Director with exposure to a range of business functions.

Responsibilities:

• Providing finance support to the Managing Director who is responsible for multiple entities of the business
• Preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Analysing financial performance and variances
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly board reporting packs
• Submission of statistical information to head office, third party entities, H&S etc. as required
• Reporting and interpreting KPI's and identifying actions to improve efficiency and performance
• Managing the purchase order processing and invoice approval systems
• Managing the sales order receipt and sales invoice processing systems
• Developing appropriate systems for invoicing other customers as they develop
• Assisting in efficiency reviews, manning levels, standard costings
• Preparing capex proposals

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified/Part Qualified/Qualified by Experience Accountant (CA/CIMA/ACCA)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience of business partnering and Liasing with Senior stakeholders
• A positive approach to problem solving and process improvement
