Project Accountant

Rutherford Cross is working with an innovative and commercial business based in Aberdeen, to recruit a newly qualified or part-qualified accountant.  This newly created position has come about as the result of succession planning and is well suited to an individual who is eager to take on greater responsibility and progress in their career.

The responsibilities in this role will include:

• Take ownership of maintaining strict internal controls
• Work closely with the Finance Manager to prepare budgets and forecasts
• Ensure month end close in completed within tight deadlines
• Build effective working relationships with key non-finance stakeholders
• Take a pro-active approach to improving processes wherever possible

Successful Candidates will possess:

• Strong technical accounting skills
• Qualified or Part-qualified, with the determination to complete studies
• An ambitious attitude with the drive to gain internal promotions

Benefits package includes:

• Salary of £30,000-£40,000
