Description

Rutherford Cross is delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing business to appoint a Payroll Administrator based on the outskirts of Edinburgh. The business has grown significantly in the last few years and is looking to add further support into its high-performing finance function. This job is hybrid - 1 day a week at home and a half day finish per week. Flexible start/finish times.

Key Activities and Responsibilities:

  • Processing Weekly payroll for a large number of employees (around 3600) using Advanced Business Solution (Openpeople)
  • Process 4 weekly Pension Payrolls
  • Ensuring all payments and deductions are implemented in accordance with statutory requirements
  • Deal with a variety of different employee contracts and pay arrangements
  • Carry out full start to finish Payroll including new starters, leavers, maternity, paternity, earnings arrestment’s, sick pay, salary sacrifice, Share scheme etc.
  • Produce and Compile Management Reports
  • Deal with Payroll related Enquiries
  • Dealing with in house Share Scheme System

Experience

  • Good excel skills
  • Previous payroll experience
