Rutherford Cross is delighted to partner with a highly successful, Glasgow based business to appoint a Management Accountant. This is a key role within the business which will offer exposure to senior stakeholders, and opportunity to add real value in a growing business with scope for progression.

Key duties:

• Responsible for preparation and presentation of monthly financial results
• Reporting of the asset base and sale of assets to the third party
• Management of payables process for this business area
• Cash forecasting and tracking
• Manage cash balances of funds held in trust
• Seek ongoing process improvement opportunities and reporting enhancement to meet & anticipate stakeholder needs
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Ad-hoc management accounting tasks
• Responsible for key controls governing the processes
• Liaison with internal and external audit

Experience required:

• Professional accountancy qualification
• Strong technical knowledge for management accounting & reporting
• Industry experience
