Our client is an impressive multinational that has grown significantly both organically and via acquisition. As a result of this growth the business is seeking a qualified accountant to perform a key role in their Scottish operation. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will focus on providing high quality management information to the business.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, KPI reporting, month end account reconciliations
• Assist in developing new and improved management information through appropriate analysis in order to allow the senior team to make informed decisions
• Support the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis with the preparation of forecasts and budgets as required
• Perform other ad hoc projects and duties as required by the Financial Controller

To succeed in this role you will be a qualified accountant who is either already operating in a similar role in industry or seeking their first move from the profession. The primary focus is to attract a high calibre individual who is team orientated and possesses a strong work ethic.

Key skills and experience include:

• Ability to set up systems and procedures to deliver consistent results in an efficient manner
• Good communicator with an ability to interact across various functions and departments, including operations
• A self-starter capable of operating autonomously as well as being comfortable as part of a team
