Rutherford Cross is delighted to be engaged by a family owned, growing business to appoint a Management Accountant. You will work closely with the Senior Management Accountant with day-to-day support as well as business partnering with operational stakeholders to drive improvements across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or QBE accountant with experience of preparing management accounts, is an excellent communicator and has experience business partnering.

Overview of Role:
As a Management Accountant, you will be supporting the business in the production and presentation of accurate and timely financial information. The individual fulfilling this role will be analytically minded with the ability to add valuable insight and decision support to various business units and non financial stakeholders within the Group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Producing monthly management accounts in accordance with the group reporting timetable
• Reviewing and discussing management accounts and other financial KPIs with key stakeholders
• Producing weekly operational reports
• Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with year end audit preparation
• Ensuring compliance with the group policies and processes
• Variance analysis
• Producing budgets and forecasts
• Assisting in the development of trainee accountants

Requirements:

• PQ with experience or QBE Accountant
• Versed in the production and presentation of management accounts
• Ability to engage, interact and influence with non-financial stakeholders
• Advanced Excel skills
