Rutherford Cross is delighted to be partnered with a global financial services firm in Glasgow City Centre to appoint an Internal Business Partner. Whilst this opportunity sits within the FP&A team, the primary focus of the role is disseminating information produced by the FP&A team internally to the wider finance team. The team works primarily remotely so if you prefer a WFH-focused role this would represent a great fit for you. On offer is a salary up to £50,000 + a strong benefits package.

Ideally looking to engage with qualified/QBE accountants who have the interpersonal skills to succeed in this type of role. Happy to consider varied backgrounds as the communication style and the ability to effectively share information across the business to facilitate decision-making are the most important aspects of the role.

Job Purpose:

  • To provide revenue, debtors and bad debt analysis; presentations and insightful commentary on monthly forecast and budgets to the Executive Group (UK and US), Regional CFOs & Business Partners in addition to Branch Office heads
  • An integral part of reporting revenue and financial performance to the business, leading on certain aspects of forecasting, budgets and monthly meetings. Completion of ad-hoc reporting as required
  • Draw insights from complex financial data and explain implications to key stakeholder groups, both financial and non-financial

Key Deliverables:

  • Scope design for financial models and analyse them to support strategic initiatives
  • Provide analysis and commentary to the Executive group on business performance and growth
  • Develop and continually improve forecasting, financial projections, and real-time value-add information flow to the business
  • Ability to use (and scope requirements for) new business intelligence tools and powerBI dashboard reports
  • Provide analysis of P&L revenue and trending analysis
  • Ownership of key board reports
  • Ad-hoc analysis; reporting and presentations, as required
  • Identification and correction of process inefficiencies
