Rutherford Cross has been engaged by a leading commercial bank based in Glasgow. Exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and forward thinking organisation.  Due to continued growth and an internal promotion, the Regulatory Risk team are looking to recruit an ICAAP/Stress Testing Manager. Initially this will be on a 9-month fixed term contract, however there will be the opportunity for the contract to change into a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role

Reporting to the Director as the ICAAP/Stress Testing specialist you will work with the business to produce and develop an ICAAP in line with regulatory requirements and to accurately reflect and support all current and future business risks.

Experience of stress-testing in a bank that would be advantageous and could be either internal/bespoke stress-testing or regulatory stress-testing following the PRA/EBA scenarios. Similarly, ICAAP or Recovery Plan experience would be useful or experience in the reporting/understanding of regulatory capital.

The bank is offering a competitive salary and benefits package. The appointment is for an initial 9 months, however the Director would be looking to extend for the right candidate.
