Interim Technical Financial Accountant job for an initial 6-month period with our Glasgow based client. Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of technical accounting reports under US GAAP and FRS 102
• Being a central point of contact for technical accounting enquiries from the finance team
• Keep colleagues updated on changes to accounting standards and on related changes to reporting
• Lead on SOX Audits and liaise with SOX Compliance
• Liaison with key stakeholders including external auditors

To apply you must be a Qualified Accountant, probably CA or ACCA with excellent and up to date technical Financial Accounting skills including US GAAP. You will also have previous experience of SOX. Finally, you will also have excellent stakeholder skills able to liaise with, and influence peers and Senior Management. Salary: £300-£350 per day.
