Interim Statutory Accountant job with a high-growth business based on the outskirts of Glasgow for a 6-month period.

Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing statutory and management accounts
• Consolidating group reporting
• Liaising with key external stakeholders (lenders/auditors)
• Timely submission of quarterly VAT returns
• Reconciling intercompany balances across the group
• Assisting with the preparation of the monthly group board pack
• Assisting with the consolidation of group budgets and forecasts
• Reviewing period-end balance sheet reconciliations
• Managing foreign currency requirements within the group
• Any other duties as reasonably requested
• Supporting the integration of new businesses into the group

The Individual:

• Fully qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW) or Qualified by Experience
• Strong knowledge of statutory accounting standards and regulations
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work effectively in a primarily on-site environment
