Interim Senior Project Accountant job (Hybrid) with a leading Glasgow based business for a 12-month period.

Reporting to the Finance Project Lead, you will be responsible for:

• Building out processes and procedures to support the analysis of revenue on a reported basis and determine the effectiveness of the reporting
• Ensuring compliance with Revenue Recognition (IFRS)
• Analysing large volume data to understand what adjustments are required to ensure accuracy of historical data sets and processes going forward
• Business partnering with key stakeholders to obtain feedback and input into ongoing process improvements
• Ad hoc projects relating to other reporting improvements

To apply, you will be a Fully Qualified Accountant with significant project experience in a large, complex organisation. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mindset with the ability to analyse large volumes of data and challenge processes to deliver conclusions and action plans. The post-holder will be a self-starter who is confident working under their own direction, driving forward work themselves. Advanced Excel skills are key for this role. Prior experience of revenue recognition implementation, dashboard creation and Power BI would be beneficial.
