Interim Senior Management Accountant job (Hybrid) with our client based just outside of Glasgow for a 12–14-month period. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:

• Prepare monthly management accounts with appropriate variance analysis and commentary
• Produce monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with project review process, including cost reporting, and maintain project review documents
• Take a key role in the preparation and delivery of the year end accounts and provision of supplementary accounting information
• Work closely and collaboratively with the wider finance team to continually improve management information to meet the changing requirements of the business
• Regularly consult with operational managers
• Monitor spending, costs, and budgets
• Support with the annual budget preparation
• Manage two finance staff
• Ad hoc duties as required

The ideal candidate will have prior exposure to accounting within industry and bring strong Excel and systems knowledge. The ability to manage own workload effectively whilst adhering to tight deadlines is key for this role, combined with experience managing a small team. This position will commence late May 2023. Salary bracket: £45,000 - £50,000 p.a.
