Interim Senior Financial Accountant role with our growing Lanarkshire based client ideally suited to a hands on technically sound Financial/Statutory experienced Accountant up to date with current Statutory and Regulatory requirements. Reporting to the Head of Finance and working alongside the Financial Controller, the position is for a 6 month period to assist the Senior Finance team consolidate a period of rapid growth, and you will be responsible for:
- Production of 7 sets of statutory accounts within tight timescales and in accordance with new UK GAAP/FRS101 where appropriate
- Liaison with key stakeholders including external auditors and the bank
- Calculation of intercompany transactions
- Allocation of overheads taking into consideration statutory and non-statutory costs
- Maintenance of accurate financial records and the integrity of the accounting systems
- Preparation of weekly and monthly consolidated cash flow position
- Calculation of bank covenants
- Complex balance sheet reconciliations
To apply it is essential that you are a professionally Qualified Accountant, preferably CA. Ideally you will have trained within a Big 4 or Top 10 firm earlier in your career. You will be a strong technical Accountant, extremely hands on and be fully conversant with IFRS and UK GAAP. You will have had full responsibility for the statutory accounting process and have experience in preparing consolidated reports. This position is for a 6 month period. Salary: £55,000 - £65,000.
