Interim Senior Financial Accountant job with a high-growth Renfrewshire-based business for an initial 3-month period.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing financial statements (income statement, balance sheet and cash flow) and disclosure workings for annual accounts
• Supporting with group consolidation and year-end journal entries
• Preparing monthly management accounts and appropriate variance analysis
• Preparing and reconciling balance sheet accounts across the group
• Preparing year-end balance sheet control accounts and supporting schedules
• Assisting with year-end audit queries and requests as part of the annual statutory audit fieldwork
• Performing operational reviews; including but not limited to sales, purchases and payroll approvals

To apply, you will be a fully qualified accountant with strong technical accounting knowledge and ideally, prior experience working within the finance function of a PLC. You will be self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The ability to support key IFRS technical papers for statutory audit is desirable, but not essential.

This role is primarily office-based and only applicants who are available at short notice will be considered.
