Interim Senior Financial Accountant job (Hybrid) with a leading healthcare technology business based in Fife for a 4-month period.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing statutory accounts for various legal entities and assisting with audit queries as appropriate
- Taking ownership of month-end and providing ad hoc analytics to Financial Controller on overheads, ensuring accruals are accurate and challenged prior to ledgers closing
- Producing monthly department reporting packages
- Overseeing specific areas of fixed assets, expenses, and finance lease accounting
- Monthly sales dashboard and revenue regional KPI preparation
- Sales commission calculations and monthly payments
- Tax management for various legal entities
- Compliance testing
- Various reconciliations to ensure controls environment operates effectively
- Maintaining and updating policies and procedures
- Managing a team of 2 Finance Assistants
- Ad hoc project work
To apply you will be a fully Qualified Accountant or time served individual able to demonstrate significant experience in a similar role. This role exists to support the delivery and smooth running of an International Finance Function and holds key responsibilities for reporting of finance lease revenues, overheads analysis and sales tax compliance.
Prior experience of statutory accounts and corporate tax are key for this position. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and strong analytical thinking with great attention to detail. High level working knowledge of Excel and other accounting software is essential. This role offers hybrid working with 2 days per week on site.
