Rutherford Cross are working with a central based Glasgow client who are looking to add a senior finance manager to their team on an interim basis. This role will be very hands on and will require a candidate with very strong financial accounting ability. Key duties will include:

• Period and month end reporting and analysis
• Supporting the preparation of annual statutory financial statements and the audit of the statutory accounts. Acting as the key interface for audit both internal and external
• Ensuring strong compliance and governance in all financial activities. Identifying any improvements/changes required and implementing
• Financial forecasting and developing the annual business plan
• Driving profitable growth for the business through strong commercial support

This role is to start asap and will require a fully qualified accountant (CA/CIMA/ACCA) who has strong technical ability and has preferably worked in a large and complex organisation where there has been a strong focus on compliance. Experience of driving changes and identifying improvements will be important as well as confidence to deliver highly accurate financial reports within a deadline driven environment.
