Interim Senior Finance Manager

Interim Senior Finance Manager job with our client based in Edinburgh for an initial 6 month period. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for:

• Lead, manage and support a sizeable operational facing Decision Support
• Support the preparation of, and review, the monthly management accounts for this large complex business including profit & loss and balance sheet accounts
• Ensure strong governance and controls through ongoing improvements of processes and procedures
• Managing the business planning and annual budget setting processes
• Liaison with senior operational management regarding ongoing budgetary position
• Analysis of variances, forecasting and re-forecasting
• Develop and maintain costing models
• Undertake project appraisals and financial aspects of business cases

To apply you will be a fully qualified Accountant and be an excellent leader with a track record of managing operational finance teams previously. You will have a background of working in a large complex company previously and also have first class communication skills. Start February 2018. Day Rate: equivalent £55,000 - £65,000 per annum.
