Description

Interim Senior Finance Business Partner job (Hybrid) with a well-known organisation based in the West of Scotland for a 12-month period. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering a comprehensive finance business partnering service across the department, incorporating financial business performance monitoring, business decision making support and key business challenge
  • Ownership for the provision of quality financial data, reporting Management Information packs aligned to key stakeholders and their areas of budget responsibility
  • Ownership of Profit and Loss for relevant business areas with a focus on business drivers, key messages, and mitigations to manage any adverse variances whilst challenging performance and driving profitability
  • Support the successful delivery of the Annual Plan / Budget for the business area(s) your support is aligned too, which will include planning, co-ordination, and communication across operational business areas and other key stakeholders
  • Ensure the integrity of financial results for the business area(s) your support is aligned to
  • Work collaboratively with budget holders to ensure monthly variances to plans are understood and any future risk & opportunity to the full year forecast is quantified on a monthly basis
  • Communicate to a range of stakeholders and prepare information in a format suitable for presentation to Executive Team members, plus any other stakeholders as required, ensuring the correct level of information provided is tailored to the audience
  • Ad-hoc analysis as required
  • Adopt a continuous improvement mindset to all aspects of work

The Individual:

  • Fully Qualified Accountant (e.g., ACCA, ICAS, CIMA, ICAEW or equivalent)
  • Demonstrable Business Partnering experience ideally within an operational department
  • Strong analytical and professional judgement skills on business-critical matters, ability to get into detail, understand and translate key variances
  • Excellent communication skills, influencing and building relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues
  • Advanced Excel skills

On Offer:

  • Salary of £60,000 - £68,000 p.a.
