Interim Senior Finance Analyst job (Hybrid Working) with our Lanarkshire based client for a 4-5 month period. This role will have a primary focus on grant funding. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:

• Providing accounting support with grant submissions
• Analysing departmental spending in line with external funding sources
• Preparing and co-ordinating claim submissions ensuring alignment with funding criteria
• Liaising with external auditors for submission to funding agency
• Communicating with external funders on financial queries
• Assisting in the preparation of forecasts
• Ensuring accuracy of grant claims to prevent duplication
• Supporting the Finance Director with ad hoc projects as required

To apply, you will be a Qualified or ‘Qualified by Experience’ Accountant or Analyst with previous experience of working in a complex organisation. When preparing grant submissions and claims, commercial awareness, having the latitude to make decisions and the ability to capture and analyse information is key in this role. The ideal candidate will be comfortable interacting with internal and external stakeholders at various levels. Finally, you will be an advanced user of Excel and have good knowledge of financial processes, controls and systems. This role will offer a hybrid working model. £Day Rate is dependent on experience.
