Rutherford Cross are delighted to support our Glasgow headquarter business to recruit an interim project accountant for a 6-month period. We are looking to engage with fully qualified accountants who are immediately available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Budget Support: Assist in managing, maintaining, and supporting the overall budget process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with financial targets
• Data Consolidation: Gather, organise, and analyse financial data from various sources to support reporting and business insights
• Power BI Reporting: Prepare and compile data for Power BI dashboards and visualizations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
• Business Integration Support: Help facilitate the financial integration of a newly acquired business, ensuring smooth transition of financial data, systems, and processes
• Ad-hoc Financial Support: Provide financial analysis and ad-hoc reporting as required to support project objectives

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a project accountant or similar role
• Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting
• Proficient in Power BI, Excel, and financial systems
• Experience with business integrations and data management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
