Interim Project Accountant job (Hybrid) with a global Construction & Property business based in Glasgow for an initial 6-month period.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Detailed balance sheet reconciliation work, leading the cleanse and review of the balance sheet with a structured and managed approach
• Ensuring processes are effective, aligned to accounting policies and deliver clear and concluded reconciliations to audit standard
• Working closely with the finance team to deliver a robust and clear 2023 year-end, identifying any process improvement opportunities and being fully supported and empowered to make agreed proposals happen within the new operational system environment

To apply, you will be a fully Qualified Accountant with experience within a high-volume transaction environment. You will have advanced Excel skills, the ability to work with manual and varying data sources and be comfortable operating in a complex system environment.
