Description
Interim Payroll Manager opportunity with our Edinburgh based client. This role is for a 6 month period reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the administration and management of the payroll and time & attendance system
- Liaising with external systems provider to resolve any system and configuration issues or changes that arise
- Project lead for systems enhancements / roadmap development (future web version of flexipay: introduction from Mitrefinch)
- Provide support and guidance to payroll team and employees to ensure that payroll systems and services are delivered in an efficient and effective manner
- Support the payroll time in monthly and annual payroll activities
- Provide cover for payroll team absence, in particular taking ownership of end to end payroll cycle when required
- Supporting payroll team in reviewing and resolving employee queries/issues as required
To apply you will be an experienced Payroll Manager. You will have a sound understanding of payroll system implementation and be able to support the payroll team with their roles.
This role is hybrid working. Star date: end of March/early April. Salary circa. £50,000 p.a.
