Interim Operations Finance Manager job with our client based in the North East of Scotland for a 12-month period. Reporting to the Head of Finance you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of weekly and monthly reports by business unit including profit & loss and balance sheet accounts meeting tight deadlines
• Analysis of operational performance and weekly presentation of reports to Operational Managers
• Lead on annual budget setting and monthly forecasting process by operational business unit
• Ongoing monitoring of financial performance against budget and forecast
• Costing and supporting new product development decision making
• Supporting operation specific projects such as capital expenditure proposals
• Regular liaison with key stakeholders at Director level
• Supervision and management of 1 team member

To apply you will be a Qualified, Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience Accountant with an exceptional Operational / Commercial Finance skillset ideally gained from within a medium or large company previously. You will have first class stakeholder skills comfortable liaising with senior leadership and non-financial managers. You will also have excellent IT skills with experience of using ERP’s and will be an Advanced Excel user. Start in April 2021, initially the role will be working remotely but will be partly on site in the North of Scotland later in the year. Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 p.a. plus benefits.
