Interim Management Accountant role with our key Edinburgh based client for an initial 6-month period. This role will report directly to the Financial Controller supporting the business through a transition of change.

The key responsibilities are:

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial reporting packs
• Support with month end, including posting journals and balance sheet analysis
• Co-ordinating audit requests during audit processes and acting as a contact for the auditors
• Preparation, monitoring and reporting of key financial controls across the business
• Support with the preparation of the annual budget process
• Supporting the development of the Finance Analysis, encouraging proactive contribution to improvement processes, review and provide feedback of reconciliation and ensure work is produced on a timely and accurate basis
• Provide ad hoc support to the Financial Controller on project work

To apply you will be a Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant. You will have excellent organisation skills with strong attention to detail. You will have good people management skills and the ability to communicate efficiently with key stakeholders. This role is for an initial 6-month with the possibility of extension.

This job is hybrid working with 3 days a week on site.

You will be available from December.

Salary £40,000- £50,000 p.a. dependant on experience.
