Interim Management Accountant job with our Edinburgh based client. This role is for a 12-month period to cover a period of extended leave, reporting directly to the Interim Director of Finance.

The key responsibilities of this role are:

• Preparing the consolidated monthly management accounts including variance analysis and commentary
• Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliation
• Line management of 1 Assistant Accountant, supporting with their learning and development
• Responsible for the day-to-day credit control
• Overseeing the transactional processes
• Supporting with the continuous improvement of processes and systems
• Ad hoc support to the Interim Finance Director and key stakeholders where required

To apply you will be a Qualified or ‘Qualified by Experience’ accountant with experience working within a fast-paced environment. You will have excellent Business Partnering capabilities as well as written and verbal skills. You will be proactive and confident in taking ownership of key deliverables.

This role will begin in June and support hybrid working with circa. 1 day a week in the office.
