Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working with an international manufacturing organisation in Glasgow who are looking to add an Interim Management Accountant to their team for a period of 3-6 months. Working as part of a large finance team you will be supporting across a number of different areas during a busy time. A summary of some of the main duties are below:

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and associated reports
• Completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of ancillary returns including VAT, EC Sales List and Intrastat
• Overseas office compliance including company secretarial
• Transfer pricing implementation throughout the group
• Preparation / review of overseas businesses including timely submission of all statutory returns
• Setting up of new overseas legal, banking, payroll and financial entities
• To assist in the finalisation of year end accounts
• Ad hoc projects

For this role the client requires a fully qualified accountant – CA/ACCA/CIMA or a qualified by experience candidate with recent experience in preparing management accounts and balance sheet work. Experience of working with an ERP system would be advantageous as would any experience within manufacturing sector.
