Interim Head of Group Reporting job for a 15 month period with our Glasgow based client. Reporting to the Financial Controller the main duties and responsibilities include:

• Preparation of monthly group consolidated management accounts including profit & loss and balance sheet
• Preparation of individual subsidiary statutory accounts
• Production of group consolidated statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors
• Ensure all technical accounting aspects are met under IFRS
• Preparation of half year group consolidated accounts
• Production of the full year annual report
• Supervision of a small finance team
• Drive improvements in current reporting processes
• Presentation of reports to the Board

You will be a fully qualified accountant who is very strong in technical financial accounting ideally gained within a large group structured business. You will be up to date with IFRS and other technical matters, be very comfortable liaising with external auditors and will also have first class written communication skills. This role will support remote or hybrid working. Salary: £competitive p.a. plus benefits or day rate equivalent.
