Interim Head of Financial Accounting job for a 9-month period with our Edinburgh based client.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:

• Production of annual statutory accounts to meet IFRS and liaison with external auditors
• Leadership of the finance team responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and Board reports
• Capital expenditure analysis
• Overseeing all cashflow forecasting and re-forecasting
• VAT Returns
• Submission of Corporation Tax return
• Reviewing of existing accounting systems and processes, recommending improvements where required
• Ensuring a robust financial control environment

To apply you must be a Qualified Accountant and experienced Financial Reporting Manager, Group Finance Manager or Group Accountant. You will be up to date on technical accounting standards and accounting policies as well as having excellent team leadership capabilities. Finally, you will have excellent stakeholder skills and be able to liaise with / present to Senior Management, Board and Shareholders.
