Interim Head of Finance (Part Time) job for a 3-month period with our Edinburgh based charitable sector client. The role will be for 3 or 4 days per week during the assignment. Reporting to the Chief Executive you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, cashflow forecasts and tracking of reserves to support key decision making and fundraising for the charity
• Ensure a robust control framework and work closely with the Board and Finance & HR Board Committees
• Lead, coach and motivate the finance team
• Produce a 3-year financial projection to support an update of the business plan
• Review and develop existing financial policies, processes and KPIs to ensure effective financial performance
• Support funding bids and applications with regular project budget and costing work
• Work closely with the Fundraising team to support the Charity’s future plans and developments
• Support the development of an IT strategy and implementation plan

To apply you will be a Qualified Accountant and experienced Head of Finance. You will be hands-on whilst having excellent team leadership capabilities to coach and mentor. You will have strong IT skills having ideally used Sage previously. You will also have excellent stakeholder skills able to liaise and work closely with Senior Management and the Board. Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 p.a. pro rata.
