Interim Head of Finance job with our sme client based in West Lothian. Reporting to the Director the main duties and responsibilities include:

• Prepare monthly management accounts including profit & loss and balance sheet
• Production of year end statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors
• Annual budget setting and monitoring performance against budget
• Preparing monthly management reports providing commentary and an analysis on variances from forecasts
• Cashflow management and forecasting
• Preparation of VAT Returns
• Leadership of the finance team

You will be a fully qualified accountant with previous experience at Financial Controller or Head of Finance level. You will be extremely hands on and this opportunity could lead to a permanent appointment. Salary: £65,000-£75,000 or day rate equivalent.
