Interim Head of Finance job until the end of the year with our sme client based in Edinburgh. Reporting to the Managing Director the main duties and responsibilities include:

• Prepare monthly management accounts including profit & loss and balance sheet
• Production of year end statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors
• Produce reports for presentation to the Board
• Working with budget holders set budgets and update rolling forecasts
• Produce actual Vs forecast variance analysis
• Balance Sheet and Bank reconciliations
• Prepare supplier payment runs
• Monthly Stock count
• Overseeing monthly payroll
• Purchasing and Demand Planning including ordering and sourcing new suppliers
• Supply Chain including weekly demands and forecasts

You will be a fully qualified accountant with previous experience at Financial Controller or Head of Finance level. Ideally you will have experience of leading Procurement and Supply Chain. You will be extremely hands on and it would be advantageous if you have a background in Manufacturing. Salary: circa £75,000 or day rate equivalent.
