Interim Group Financial Consultant job with our large client based in the North West of England for an initial 3-month period. As part of the Senior Management team and reporting directly to the CFO you will be responsible for:

• Production of multiple Statutory Accounts for each individual subsidiary across this large Group
• Preparation of consolidated Statutory Accounts for the Group in conjunction with IFRS
• Liaison with ‘Big 4’ external auditors being the primary contact managing this key relationship
• Co-ordination of workload over year end of a sizeable finance team of over 100 staff
• Supporting the CFO in the presentation of the annual statutory reports to the Board
• Oversight of the production of group consolidated monthly management accounts
• Managing cashflow and banking relationships
• Implementing and improving controls, policies and processes
• Submission of statutory returns to Regulatory bodies

You will be a Qualified Accountant, ideally CA or ACCA, and be up to date in all aspects of IFRS and technical statutory accounting within a plc or large Corporate having operated at a very senior level within this size of business. You will have strong group consolidation experience and have first-class stakeholder skills. Due to the current lockdown this role will involve Virtual Interviews and Virtual On-boarding. It is anticipated the first 2 months will be worked from home but then will involve working on site once this is possible. Remuneration: circa £600 - £900 per day.
