Interim Group Financial Controller job for a 6-month period with our growing sme client based outside Glasgow. Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of group consolidated monthly management accounts including profit & loss and balance sheet
• Production of group annual statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors under UK GAAP
• Preparation and presentation of the Board Reporting Pack
• Supervision of a small finance team
• Integration of newly acquired businesses into the Group
• Annual budget setting and ongoing monitoring
• Process improvements including review of budgeting format

To apply you must be a fully qualified Accountant with strong Group Consolidation experience. The postholder will be required to undertake some travel to businesses south of the border. You will have strong Financial Accounting skills and be extremely hands on. Salary: circa £50,000 - £55,0000 per annum or day rate equivalent.
