Rutherford Cross is delighted to be supporting our well-established client to bring in an Interim Group Financial Controller for a 3-6 month period. This opportunity does also present a chance to be made permanent.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Ensuring all financial deliverables are submitted to the group and Board of Directors on time, are 100% accurate and are of the highest quality
- Daily, Weekly and Monthly treasury management to ensure group cash is maximised, including cashflow forecasting
- Preparing and reviewing Group Consolidated Management Accounts on a monthly basis prior to submission to external stakeholders
- Preparing and reviewing quarterly Group VAT Returns including submission to HMRC
- Corporation tax quarterly instalment payment calculations and submissions
- Leading the year end audit including dealership pack reviews, tax pack reviews, corporation tax calculations and accounts models preparation
- Year end consolidation and statutory accounts preparation
- Maintaining the group contracts register, compliance register and lease register
- Carrying out Bank Administrator duties, ensuring adherence to company policy
- Carrying out any ad hoc requests, including projects and competitor analysis, that may be requested by the Group Finance Director or CFO
