Interim Group Financial Controller job with our Glasgow based client for an initial 6 month period.

You will be responsible for:

• The operational and day to day leadership and management of the finance function
• Preparing consolidated monthly management accounts including profit & loss and balance sheet for the group
• Producing statutory accounts for the group and liaising with external auditors
• Annual budget setting, quarterly forecasting and analysis of variances
• Preparing the Board pack and also papers for Divisional meetings
• Business partnering and liaison with operational management
• Supporting the integration of recent and forthcoming acquisitions into the finance structure
• Management reporting and reporting to investors
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• VAT Returns and Corporation Tax

You will be a qualified accountant with previous experience of leading a group finance team and of preparing consolidated monthly management accounts. You will also enjoy being hands on in the preparation of monthly and annual accounts and a background in manufacturing will be advantageous. Salary: £70,000-£80,000 p.a. or day rate equivalent.
