Interim Group Financial Accountant job with our client based outside Glasgow for a 12-month period. Sitting within the Group function of this large complex business you will be responsible for:

• Planning and delivery of the group and subsidiary statutory accounts whilst reporting to the Audit Committee
• Preparation of the group consolidation for the year end statutory reporting process
• Complex balance sheet reconciliations
• Liaise with and build relationships with external auditors ensuring key audit points are addressed
• Maintain and develop processes, procedures and controls for the Group in relation to statutory reporting

To apply you will be a Qualified Accountant, preferably CA, with a strong technical Financial Accounting skill set. You will be up to date with new technical developments in relation to statutory reporting including IFRS. You will have experience of either holding a Financial Accounting role in a large company or you will have conducted external audits with large clients previously. You will also be a confident communicator able to liaise and challenge stakeholders where appropriate. Salary: £Competitive
