Interim Group Financial Accountant job with a highly successful PE-backed business based on the outskirts of Glasgow for a 6-month period.

Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing parent entity management accounts
• Consolidating group reporting
• Liaising with key internal stakeholders (Financial Controllers / Finance Directors) in each of the business units to gain consistent financial information
• Liaising with key external stakeholders (lenders / auditors)
• Timely submission of quarterly VAT returns
• Reconciling intercompany balances across the group
• Maintaining and enhancing the suite of financial and commercial reports in Power Bl
• Assisting with the preparation of the monthly group board pack
• Assisting with the consolidation of group budgets and forecasts
• Reviewing period-end balance sheet reconciliations
• Managing foreign currency requirements within the group
• Any other duties as reasonably requested
• Supporting the integration of new businesses into the group

This position is well suited to a qualified accountant with demonstrable experience in a group reporting function. On offer is a competitive daily rate (inside IR35). Immediate start required.
