Interim Group Accountant

Interim Group Accountant job with our Edinburgh based client for a 9-12 month period. This role will report directly to the Group Finance Manager. The key duties of this role are:

• Assisting in the preparation of the Group management accounts
• Supporting with the preparation of annual, interim and statutory accounts
• Liaising with auditors in the statutory process
• Assisting with the preparation of year end and half year end
• Review of reconciliations dealt with by other functions
• Identify recommend and assist in changes to accounting systems and controls to ensure they are fit for purpose
• Supporting the Group Finance Manager with the implementation of a new consolidation module
• Ad-hoc accounting assistance as required

To apply you will be a Qualified or ‘Qualified by Experience’ Accountant with previous statutory accounting experience and good ERP software skills. Ideally you will have previous group consolidation experience and exposure to a multi-currency environment is desirable. This role will begin in May and will follow a Hybrid working pattern. Salary: £50,000-£55,000p.a.
