Interim Financial Reporting Accountant

Interim Financial Reporting Accountant role with our Fife based client supporting the Lead Financial Reporting Accountant. This role is for a 12-month period to support the implementation of a new ERP System. The key responsibilities for this role are:

• Assist with the production of month-end and year-end reporting
• Production of balance sheet reconciliation
• Analyse and document current financial processes
• Assist in identifying any gaps within data which could impact the process of automation to the new ERP system
• Support in the analysis of data and assist in identifying solutions to any integrity issues
• Develop a clear understanding of solution design proposed by implementation partners
• Assist in the testing of the new ERP system before the go live date
• Support in the training of non-finance teams in the use of the new ERP system
• Ad hoc support as required

To apply you will be a Qualified, Part-Qualified or “Qualified by Experience” Accountant with a good understanding of internal financial controls. You will be a logical thinker with the ability to prioritise workload and be comfortable with managing and changing priorities. You will be a confident communicator able to liaise with key stakeholders. This role will start in October and support a hybrid working model. Salary £35,000 - £42,000 p.a. dependant on experience.
